Caring for your Xero Shoes

To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry.
We do not recommend putting your Xeros in the washing machine or dryer.

DLH Fusion

What’s different between the Men’s and Women’s DayLite Hiker?

We use “men’s” and “women’s” as a matter of convention. We know there are some men who will fit better in the “women’s” shoe, and vice versa.

The “men’s” style is a bit wider across the toes and in the heel. The women’s, conversely, has a narrower heel and slightly less-wide toe box.

If you’re a man with a very thin foot, or a women with a wide foot, you may want to try the “other” style.

Is the DayLite Hiker Waterproof?

It’s not waterproof because the tongue is independent of the rest of the upper, though the ballistic mesh material in the upper definitely makes this boot a little more rain-friendly than most other footwear. Comfortable but not very good quality

Shoes are very lightweight and comfortable, but they lack quality. Sole was worn after 1 season. I walked them for estimate 800km. 5000 miles warranty does not work, since they don't have the same size on stock (in any color).

quality is disastrous

The shoes themselves are really good. But the quality is disastrous. They are extremely slippery when wet. The sole wears out extremely quickly. Seams in the forefoot area are coming apart and the sole is peeling off all around. I walk my dog a lot but not extremely much either. I had the shoes replaced 5 times and finally got the money refunded. So one star for the very good service. But the first defects usually appear after a few days to weeks with less than 50 km of mileage. If the shoes were of a certain quality I would like to continue shopping at Xero, but unfortunately that doesn't make sense.

Good hiking shoes

It felt like my feet needs those shoes. Less backpain and they are comfortabele to wear. Using them daily or just for hiking, only part is because the y are not waterproof. My feets gets sweaty and it smells. Also it will take a long time to dry up so you can wear them.
