To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry.

Disappointing Winter Shoe

After wearing the shoes for several month in different weather conditions I am pretty disappointed since they are very slippery on wet rocky ground despite the advertised Michelin soles. I never experienced such a slippery sole on hiking shoes, neither on conventional nor on barefoot shoes. They also don't have much grip on wet asphalt. I purchased them for winter hiking in europe and was looking for a waterproof shoe for our wet and muddy winters. But a waterproof shoe that has no grip in wet conditions is practically useless since it feels unsafe wearing them, especially in alpine terrain. I love the design and fit of the shoe. They are comfortable to wear and they are 100% waterproof - this is really great, I tested in every puddle. It's a pity that I have to think twice about the weather and ground conditions every time and if I "dare" to wear them or not - although they should be a fit especially for wet conditions.

Parfaites

Ces Xero Scrambler Mid II WP sont très confortables et vraiment imperméables : je les ai testées en raquettes dans la neige, en marchant dans de l’eau en randonnée en montagne. Même sur le sable, pas un grain n’y rentre ! Les semelles ne glissent pas, il y a des bandes réfléchissantes et un anneau pour accrocher des guêtres… Je les ai choisies en 39 1/2 alors que je fais du 38, ce qui me laisse la place de remplacer la semelle intérieure par une semelle en laine et me permet de porter de grosses chaussettes pour aller dans la neige ; le reste du temps avec la semelle intérieure et de bonnes chaussettes c’est parfait. Le revêtement extérieur me paraît bien plus solide et étanche que celui de mes Xero Xcursion qu’elles sont venues remplacer. Je ne leur trouve aucun défaut et je suis vraiment ravie de mon achat !

Stunning, super comfortable and winter perfect

I love these shoes, I have found myself wearing them more than I expected. I bought them for hiking and I am wearing them to the park with my kids and on weekend winter walks with mud. They look nice, I like that they are dark but not black, and love the pinch of green. They are warm, dirt and humidity resistant, and easy to clean. I had to exchange my usual size (41 on xero prio neo or prio) for half size bigger (41.5) because I like to be really confortable inside and i tend to wear thicker socks with it.

Excellent

They feels super soft to wear but still protects against hard rocks etc. I havn’t tried them in colder weather yet, just around 0 celcius wich works great. They have been waterproof so far.
