To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry.
We do not recommend putting your Xeros in the washing machine or dryer.

Sturdy, narrow and minor quality shoe

The Xcursion Fusion is a very sturdy outdoor shoe and as far as I tested almost waterproof. This is about everything that matched my expectations. The shoe is peculiarly sized. Having it bought 1 size over normal as suggested for pretty much any barefoot shoe it is almost too long but not wide enough for my feet. The toe box is pretty much "normal" sized, making it despite having a low profile a "normal" shoe. Having two other pairs of Xero Shoes this is a major disappointment. Nevertheless I decided to give it a try. I wore the Xcursion Fusion not even a whole season, but it is almost ready for the bin. The outer fabric seems to be only for the looks and of pretty minor quality. Both shoes have now holes in the fabric where you bend your forefoot what you naturally do when using your feet. 😉 I did not wear them daily or do any demanding hikes with them - almost exclusively in an urban area in northern Germany. I bought the shoes in last years sale for 68€. Having them probably not surviving another season this seemingly good price is almost too much for the quality you get. Buying it at the normal price of 170€ is not a good idea. tl;dr Disappointed with these.

Quality issues - not a barefoot

This was my first barefoot shoes from Xero, though the first experience is bad. The shape of the "toe box" is not the same as on the images. The space for big toe is limited (the actual angle is more of a "non-barefoot" footwear. And the overall width is also not great (my size is 45). Heel, on the other hand, is too wide for the other dimensions of the shoe. Poor quality control because of the above from the brand, which is weird, considering the popularity.

Excellent service

I recently posted re poor quality xero fusion boots. The company promptly replaced them and I am delighted to be walking around in them again. They are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I will be more careful about using them in wetish conditions they are really not suitable for that. Five stars for customer service. Thanks Xero.
