I've only been running with barefoot shoes since I had Achilles tendinitis 4 years ago. We discovered Xero by chance and ordered them - without having any great expectations. I wore them for 8 kilometers on my first run. The shoe fits great, feels light and fluffy, you almost don't notice it. I ordered the same shoe for my husband. We are super happy!

Thank you for staying true to yourself

After 850km my old Mesa Trail II definitely needed replacement (as in - the grip on the forefoot was completely gone, as expected for a barefoot runner) and I decided to go with the same shoe over again. I did the inauguration run today and it felt just as good as with the previous shoes. No long and ardous break-in - the shoes fit, just like the previous pair. Why is that noteworthy? Because I've had other brands that change their models every freaking year (so it's back to zero every time) OR who change manufacturers or start cutting corners so your preferred shoe suddenly feels very different. Thank you XERO for keeping the quality, the fit, and the feel consistent over time.

They are very nice,for running, but unfortunately I can feel the pattern (-tiny holes )in the innersoles-I wished this sole where more smuth

Early to declare a winner, but promising!

I am still in the initial period of acclimating to my Zero shoes. Following the guidance to use them for a few hours each day, and so far, so good. No problems. And I’m looking forward to stronger feet and strides as my feet work harder and get stronger.
