To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry.
We do not recommend putting your Xeros in the washing machine or dryer.

Solid shoe, but WP isn't reliable

I've had these shoes since late September 2024. It took me about a month to get used to them. The first month they hurt the top of my feet and I had to tie them loosely. It's better now. They're solid shoes, good for hiking. Although rocky terrain would be tricky as they have poor traction on smooth surfaces. But I'm quite disappointed in the waterproofing. I bought them specifically because they were said to be waterproof, as we get a lot of rain and dewy grass. Unfortunately, within the first 2 months I already started getting damp socks in rainy or muddy conditions within a few minutes. Not because it was flooding in at the ankles, but because it was creeping in where the shoe creases near the ball of the foot. Of course I understand that waterproof shoes need to be cleaned and sprayed every so often to maintain the WP layer. But within 2 months? That's just a let down. I paid €160 for these shoes, I expected better.

Not what i was expecting

It was a really bad experience, shoes are too stiff. Already try to use two times but it's a pain after a very little time. Probably a bigger size than the regular one would help a bit. The inside on the shoes don't have the same finish as other Xero shoes, if the insole is removed it becomes very rugged when walking.

great shoes, a bit harder probably due to the WP treatment

slightly harder on the front part, which after a long walk (4-5h) started to be felt by my feet probably due to the WP structure .. and maybe I just still need to break them in a bit, but being used to barefoot shoes that are always supercomfy from the start, wasn't expecting this. But overall, great shoes, kept my feet dry, and has the usual great feeling for the ground under my feet.

pretty good

Design: very good. Weight: very good. Wearing comfort: good to very good - takes some time yet. Warm enough for winter weather, maybe bit too warm/dense, but this could be due to WaterProofed. Either the shoestrings are bit too thick or the upper two holes are too small (I widened them on my own).

Mesa Trail WP - Men

too early to give a proper review. Ordered 44,5 but needed a 45. Exchanged without any problems. They need a bit of breaking in around the house as they are quite stiff as mentioned in other reviews but things are looking positive. Also nice when they come out of the box without that typical chemical stink that so many other shoes have! Will update when I have worn them outside and in the rain.
