To clean your Xero Shoes, hand wash with warm water, mild soap and allow them to air dry.

NO SON IMPERMEABLES

Compré estas botas con mucha ilusión, pero ahora sólo estoy decepcionada y enfadada. En mi primer paseo con ellas, que no llovía, pero sí había helada en el campo, he vuelto a casa con los calcetines y los pies mojados. Me siento engañada. Son unas botas caras, que compré porque eran botas descalzas para la montaña, pero no es verdad.

Lots of room for the toes

I haven't used them yet for hiking but I find them super comfortable! The toes have lots of room. The insoles are cushioning the feet, so there is not so much barefoot feeling as I am used to, but might be perfect for transitioning.

Too tight

I only tried them at home and noticed that they are a bit too small (I had bought my regular size as recommended), but also that the Part around my ankle is so narrow that my ankle/leg started to hurt only after a few seconds. Furthermore the sole is so stiff that I can hardly call them barefoot shoes.

First barefoot shoes

The shoes are nice, very wide on the inside, true to size, and the delivery was fast. Unfortunately, within the first week of wearing them, part of the material on top, which is softer like suede, became stained blue, apparently from contact with jeans. I initially thought the issue was with the clothing, but the tongue of the shoes also turned black due to contact with the inner part of the shoes. Additionally, the tongue started looking worn and scuffed after just two weeks of use. I expected higher-quality materials for shoes costing €160. Otherwise, they are comfortable but not suitable for very cold weather. I always wear them with thick socks at temperatures around 0°C or slightly below. I would never wear them in colder weather. I’m yet to see if they will hold up for long-term use. These are my first barefoot shoes.
