Overall good shoes

These shoes are my everyday informal shoes. I like them for walking my dog, shopping, everything I do where causal is ok. Also, while I was running in barefoot shoes, they where my favorite (due to injuries, I had to go back to normal running shoes for running). These shoes have seen a lot of miles, the treats are almost worn down and the upper mesh is now so broken that I have to buy a new pair. They could last me longer if I did not care about the holes in the upper mesh, but it is starting to look really bad. Here are a list of pros and cons. Pro Sits very well on my foot Very sturdy in mud and off road conditions Also good on asfalt and cement Flexy and comfortable, feels great Looks ok for everyday use (until holes in upper mesh appear) Cons The upper mesh started to wear out fairly quick and holes appeared. The insoles does not stay in place. I had to take them out. All in all a very good shoe but with above levels for improvements, so only four stars.

Trail II Passes Trial - 10 out of 10!

Today was my 1st proper hike in preparation for walking the Portuguese Camino (for charity) in April. The Xero Trail II shoes were everything I hoped they’d be: Lightweight, flexible and comfortable, on a range of surfaces from road, to rough track to forest path. With the heel lock keeping my feet secure, yet extra toe space wiggle room, they just felt right. Not a hint of discomfort from start to finish - not even that “new shoe” friction, never mind anything resembling a blister. Sporty, functional carpet slippers for the outdoors!

Grippy sole

Bought these to try them on our AG soccer pitch and the grip + comfort they provided was really good! First sessions were rough & I‘d advice easing into them but overall really nice! Just a bit thin for hitting a ball but that‘s not what they‘re made for in the first place. Other than that, the boot is just really comforting!
